This is a group of Austin women friends who would enjoy an occasional philanthropic project.  Many of us are (or have been) heavily involved in charitable roles requiring a large investment of time and effort. This is the opposite: a guilt-free opportunity to engage in a limited activity with friends that still serves a good cause.

This effort was started by Joy Hall Bryant, Mindy Lewis, Linda Casper, Debbie Brown, and Mary Hale. Any friends - or friends of friends - are welcome to participate. Email questions to: [email protected]

Several people have expressed interest in participating. We are testing the features of 开云体育 as the communication tool. Not everyone uses Facebook. Email alone can be inefficient (new additions get left out).  Those interested subscribe and then we have several options that include emailing the group, a wiki, calendar, sharing files, etc.  Maybe it's overkill, but we can try it.  

Current Project

Once subscribed, check the wiki page for current information. Plus, we'll be using email.

Current project is to make Birthday Box, Coping Kit, or donate to the . We'll pick a July deadline and location to meet for coffee or lunch to drop off donations after we know more who is involved.

Honestly, we don't know if this is a one-time event/project or if we'll decide to do something else when this one is done.  We'll see how it goes...

Subscribing

To join this group, scroll down and click the Apply for Membership using the Group button.  Provide email address and submit.  Group moderator will approve you (to keep out spammers) AND you will see an email from the group asking you to confirm your request to join. You must respond to this.  There are two choices, simply REPLY to that message to participate by email only OR click the link and create a FREE account to be able to access the many web features as well as email communications. The second choice would be preferred.
