There is some good advice here.?? I often ignore the door if I am not expecting anyone... this puts a new perspective on that!? To summarize the article, the author claims that most burglars prefer vacant homes.? If you ignore the knock they will think the house is empty.? If you answer thru the door (or a Ring doorbell) you can tell them you are NOT INTERESTED but they know someone is home.??? In the case of burglars, they will often chose another home.? Good article!
