? Our hoomin is the only hoomin on the 30 acre property we live on
who hasn¡¯t done time in the slammer. Our landlord has been in and out of the pokey
several times, and some visits have been for several years. Our former next-door
neighbor (Kaia¡¯s hoomin) has been in and out all his adult life, most recently
last October for possession of two bags of meth (he was bailed out on the 6th
day of incarceration) and then was back in 13 days after being bailed out, this
time for ¡°assault with a deadly weapon [a golf club] without intent to kill¡±.
Our resident car mechanic was recently incarcerated for allegedly beating his [common
law?] wife, but the common law wife bailed him out after only a few days
inside. She¡¯s done some time for non-payment of child support for a kid from a
previous relationship. ? Living out here in the middle of nowhere has certainly been an
education for our hoomin! 
? ? I don't have any knowledge of it either, he's the first person
I've ever known, to be in jail.
