DXKeeper: New County Lookup

? As always, thank you for a great series of software.

QRZ.com and the US Postal Service list a particular Louisiana Parish exactly as Saint Tammany.? In contrast, countyhunter.com, HamCall.net, and DXKeeper Capture use the spelling of "St. Tammany".? That works out well for my county chasing. ?Numerous county spelling differences occur nationally.? QRZ.com XML is used by me.
My question: what magic does DXKeeper do to actually make this spelling adjustment from QRZ.COM to DXKeeper Capture when logging a contact?? Or something else is in the mix.? Any comments will be appreciated!

.... comprehensive explanation of spelling changes was provided by Dave AA6YQ. Dave: This helps me greatly in managing my supplemental statistics. Your efforts in writing and supporting DXLabs are far understated. + I haven't ever pursued the "Worked All USA Counties" award, but I know what would someone pursuing that award would face if he or she had to manually correct the variations in county names reported by callbooks. So I built a simple mechanism that made it easy to add corrections as they were reported. It's been a long while since logging a QSO with a U.S. station has resulted in DXKeeper reporting an invalid county name that it couldn't correct. 73, Dave, AA6YQ |

MARAC has indeed started to issue own USA-CA award since CQ is essentially defunct.? We have done everything in our power to keep the Award numbers the same and continue forward, not that this has much to do with DX Keeper.
