What sort of transceiver are you using, Tom? If there's an external
interface between your transceiver and your PC, how is this interface
powered? If the power comes from a serial port modem control signal (like
RTS or DTR), open the Ports tab of Commander's Config window and make sure
that the signal being used as a power supply is set to "always on".

Dave, AA6YQ

Tom,
I have a Kenwood Ts-2000 and ran into a similiar situation a few weeks ago. It turned out that the freq don't update when the radio is in Memory mode. I had recently programmed in all the local repeaters and had it scan them in memory mode. While it is scanning it appears similiar to how yours does. I have the PC light but no updates until I put it back in VFO mode.

Thank you again for your help Dave.
?
I verified the Comm Conn. they are all up dated to 32Bit.
?
The Rig is a TS-2000 kenwood.
?
Turned on HRD - it operated the Rig correctly with out issue.
?
I would have to surmise I must have an internal switch turned off within DXKeeper.
?
Have a suggestion?
?
Thank You..

Thank you again for your help Dave.

I verified the Comm Conn. they are all up dated to 32Bit.

The Rig is a TS-2000 kenwood.

Turned on HRD - it operated the Rig correctly with out issue.

I would have to surmise I must have an internal switch turned off within DXKeeper.

Have a suggestion?

Yes; Kenwood transceivers require the serial port's RTS signal to be enabled; if this signal is not enabled, Commander can control the transceiver, but the transceiver will not send information to Commander. Please open the Config window's Ports tab, and in the "Serial Port" panel set RTS to "always on".
Better?
