Re: ATNO list?

+ AA6YQ comments below

Is there a way to sort and filter my log so I can see each country I have worked, but just the first time I worked them? An "ATNO list", if you will.

+ If you haven’t been uploading your QSOs to Club Log, do so and wait a few hours before proceeding.

+ Then log in to Club Log. In the vertical menu bar on the left, select Timelines in the "Your Log" section.

+ On the "DXCC Timeline" page, click the "First Worked dates" button.

Re: CAT connection between Yaesu FT1000MP+MicroHam_MK+DXLab+SPE_RFPA 1.5k

GM Joe , thankyou again for the info and SAD abt the Y_RS232 cable not reliably working with "25" years young MP radio.
I will try to add an USB_RS232 converter and see if I can let it be recognised by the SPE_PA
and DXLAB_Commander.

One *can* however, click *RAT*,
+ The RAT button is located just above the Log Page Display on the Main window's "Log QSOs"? tab. Clicking it displays DXKeeper's tabbed "Realtime Award Tracking" window.

select the DXCC tab, check Unworked,
worked and requested while unchecking Confirmed and Verified. Those
entities will be whose never worked or worked but not confirmed.
+ Check the "Include deleted entities" box if you want deleted entities that aren't confirmed to be included in the list of unconfirmed entities display in the panel. For a printable report, click the Report button along the right side of the DXCC tab.

Re: CAT connection between Yaesu FT1000MP+MicroHam_MK+DXLab+SPE_RFPA 1.5k

You *can* make up a "Y" cable to connect the SPE to the FT1000MP
in parallel with the computer *as documented in the SPE Manual*.
Note however, that such a connection is not necessarily reliable
with the ancient binary CAT protocol used by the 30 year old
Yaesu rigs.

I have tried also the VSPE SPLITTER but it does not work.
To try your suggestion I have to change the interface from MK to MKII (it will take some time to find one)
hopefully it will "fork" the CAT stream from RS232 to CI_V and finally enter in the SPE_PA.
It should be tried an USB-RS232 converter maybe it would drive the SPE_PA.
I am waiting for a response from the SPE support too
Will let you to know asap.

How would you get a list of needed entities by filtering the log?
By definition, needed entities would not be present in the log.

If I understand it (apparently not)
When you have a DXCC entity worked on a single band, CW, SSB, Digital and two of the three are verified and one is confirmed.
Shouldn't the program ask you to submit the card for the last mode?
+ For which mode have you not yet received DXCC credit for the Card's DXCC entity?

+ Is the box for that mode checked in the "DXCC Bands & Modes" panel on DXKeeper's Configuration window's Awards tab?

Re: DXCC QSL Card Submission

* WC2L Comments below:

+ AA6YQ comments below

I've got a stack of cards to submit.
When I ran the report, it gave me a couple of surprises..

+ What does "ran the report" mean? Did you generate a DXCC submission? If so, did you generate a "QSL cards" submission or an "LoTW confirmations" submission?

* Check Progress - Submission - Assemble Submission - View Submission
* LOTW - Online updated first (the system was done in December, updated in early January)
* Wanted to create a card submission to local card checker
* Check Progress - Submission - Assemble Submission - View Submission
* Grabbed my box of cards that were set aside to submit to the ARRL.

A) One was a card with no info why it was being submitted. (band or mode)
Turned out to be already confirmed via LOTW. I changed it in the log not to submit.
Guessing I got the card before the station had uploaded to LOTW (after my last LOTW submission was completed)

+ If the card confirms a DXCC entity for which you don't have DXCC award credit, then the QSO will be included in the submission. A band or mode will only be specified if you have DXKeeper configured to pursue DXCC on that band or in that mode.

* EA: Spain
* 31-Jan-2018 23:44:30 EA1DME Card
* turns out to be a digital mode QSO that I had a card, but then later cocnfirmed by LOTW (understood).
* it doesn't tell me why I was submitting..

+ If the QSO had already been confirmed via LoTW but you didn't generate an LoTW submission before generating a card submission - as is recommended in the documentation - then the QSO will be included in the submission even though its confirmed via LoTW.

* This was completed. LOTW is still behind in verification.

B) Cards in hand (DXKeeper told me to send to ARRL), Marked confirmed, not added to the submission list
Not sure why yet

+ Examine all confirmations of each entity.

* So the few I checked are simple.
* Under the QSL Box, the sent and rcvd were both "Y".

C) Cards that are marked confirmed in the log (filed in a box), not added to the submission.
Maybe confirmed before I was using DXKeeper?

+ Confirmed QSOs are only added to the submission if you don't already have DXCC award credit for the entity, entity-band, or entity mode.

* Would be nice!!
* So an I should not be in the list since I have I confirmed on 10 CW, SSB and Digital

So how can I filter my log to include any Confirmed Card for any country/band/mode?

* I should have said new entity, entity-band, or entity mode.

+ Filter with the SQL expression

QSL_RCVD in ('Y','S')

+ to see all QSOs confirmed via QSL cards to which DXCC award credit has not been granted.

* The abobe filter gave me 25072 Qs that have a Y or S in it.

I do understand I can manually add/change a status to add them.

+ It should not be necessary to do that.

Also, should I reset the submission or leave it alone? Or manually change it back?
I unfortunately cancelled the dialog with options.

+ Step 1 should be to fully understand what's going on with each of the issues you report above before you make any changes.

Re: CAT connection between Yaesu FT1000MP+MicroHam_MK+DXLab+SPE_RFPA 1.5k

Configure your SPE to work with an Icom transceiver, connect the
CAT input to the CIV jack on your microHAM MK II (?) and configure
the CIV output (System Settings) to output Transmit Frequency.
