Re: Memory Problems

Page 147 of the IC-7000 manual shows a 1B command that can set and read the
repeater tone frequency, so it may be possible to configure one or more of
Commander's user-defined command buttons as memories that activate repeater
tones.

Can Stan use the CAT commands for that rig with Commander's User Defined
buttons to select the rig's memories? If so and there are multiple
repeaters then he could do branched commands to cycle through them.

When I store FM repeater information in one of the Commander memory
locations, for my IC-7000, and then select it, it does not turn on the TONE
for the PL. Selecting the memory loction on the IC-7000 does.
Any help?

Commander does not record PL tones with its memories.

Tom,
I have a Kenwood Ts-2000 and ran into a similiar situation a few weeks ago. It turned out that the freq don't update when the radio is in Memory mode. I had recently programmed in all the local repeaters and had it scan them in memory mode. While it is scanning it appears similiar to how yours does. I have the PC light but no updates until I put it back in VFO mode.

Re: CBA Lookup for AD1L

AD1L's QRZ.com page contains HTML that puts Pathfinder's "extract info from
QRZ.com" code into an infinite loop. I'm looking for a way to detect this
that will likely survive downstream QRZ.com format changes.

Thanks...

Hello

When I attempt to use CBA to lookup AD1L on QRZ.com it fails and locks up
Pathfinder. I get a popup window "No Response from QRZ.com internet
callbook". In Task Manager it shows Pathfinder as 'not responding'
and have to manually close pathfinder and restart it before it works
again.
In Pathfinder config I have "{target callsign}".
Clearing the registry settings in Pathfinder, shutting it down and
restarting it has no affect on the problem.

I am using Pathfinder version 4.6.0 which I just recently installed and
this
is when the problem started.

I have logged AD1L before and CBA functioned normally.

After searching the messages in the group I could not find anything that
seems to cure the conditon.

QRZ.com can get pretty slow during contest weekends like this one. On
the
Callbook tab of DXKeeper's Config window, try increasing the "QRZ.com
timeout" setting to 60.

Dave, AA6YQ
Hello Dave
I have increased the timeout to 60 with no change.
I can look up ad1l on Pathfinder by itself with no problem. No other calls
seem to affected. Just when I try to use CBA in DXKeeper does it fail.
