Can't upload new QSOs to LotW

I operated in ARRL DX SSB this weekend using a friend's PC running N1MM+ configured for my call. After the contest I e-mailed the .adi file to my home PC and then imported it into DXKeeper - all seems to be OK and I can see the new QSOs in my log. However, I'm unable to upload the new Qs to LotW - when I select the Add Requested button under the QSL tab, none of the Qs load into the QSL queue.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Importing DXLab App specific fields for awards

Hello, I'm new to the group.

Is there a preferred way or method for importing?VUCC?QSOs with gridline/ four corner grids that utilize the custom ? fields:

App_DXKeeper_Grid2
App_DXKeeper_Grid3
App_DXKeeper_Grid4
Comments

I tried bringing?these fields?in via tab delimited without much success with both the field name and screen name.? Everything else seemed pretty straightforward in the import.

I also tried import view gridline by separating with commas since that is the way LOTW seems to do it without success since the field has mask for single grid/maidenhair grid.

For whats it's worth, i have been using Bit-Defender for several years now without any issues with DX Labs or any of my other HAM software.

Re: UPDATE COMMANDER 12.1.5

Thanks Dave and all for the advisory about this. I was surprised to find that the latest update to Avast, which until now had been pretty good about not having false positive detections, suddenly decided it thought that CI-V Commander.exe was "unsavory."?

Furthermore Avast did this without alerting the user in any way as to what it was doing. Avast caused a system hang each time I tried to launch the most recent release of Commander, and, reverting to the most recent previous release of Commander resulted in the same hang condition.

Adding "[MyPath here]CI-V Commander.exe" to the exclusion list in Avast took care of the issue lickety-split.

Many thanks again.

Re: Clublog Stations in SpotCollector

Dave,

I suppose that the gold is to have one list of stations that have OQRS via ClubLog.

ClubLog already provide that but only for DXpeditions, just login on ClubLog, on the top bar click Expeditions, that will show the latest ones, if you now go to the bottom of the page and click on Complete expeditions list....., this will show all DXpeditions on ClubLog with one column representing the presence of OQRS.

If there was one list for all stations that was keep actual and could be access, would be great, but that can only be done and maintain by ClubLog.

I doubt this is possible, but thought I would ask. Right now in
SpotCollector we have "color coding" if the station is LoTW, eQSL, or both.
Is there any way to mark stations that Clublog? This would make them easier
to spot, but I doubt you can get a database from Clublog that would need to
be kept updated like the ones for LoTW and eQSL.

>>>Club Log does not confirm QSOs; it provides an electronic means of
requesting confirmation via QSL card, eQSL, or LoTW.

>>>I'm not aware of a up-to-date online list of stations that accept
confirmation requests via Club Log.

Works here. Check your default browser settings.
sorry. Time ago I had set the "Config | Browser pathname" to the Firefox folder for all programs while I was using the 32 bit version of Firefox; now I'm using the 64 bit version and I should change the paths to "Program files" folder instead of (x86), but I suppose that I should leave them empty since Firefox *is* the default browser. I don't even remember why I set those fields.

Re: QSL Labels or Cards

My two cents: (I'm out of town had so e minor surgery and the hospital does not really allow an Portable IT infrastructure :-) )at the moment and no DXlab at hands).
But as far as I remember, besides the orientation ( portrait vs. landscape) make sure the label ( card? ) dimensions match both in qsl config AND in Dxlabs Printer config.
Initially I had problems with those settings, because The printer specifies height/width and Dxkeeper width/height ( or so) . Initially I got confused with that. But now, it works.
In addition, to prevent those naughty margin messages, I simply set the qsl config sizes slightly lower than the actual label size and order the program to ignore printer margins.

Re: 3-column labels and tnx qso

Please direct DXKeeper to make a print preview of your labels. Make a screen
shot of the print preview, and a screenshot of the Labels tab of DXKeeper's
"QSL Configuration" window. Attach both print previews to an email message,
and send it to me via

That fixes the label. I thought had checked it. I also tried it in the printer.

Now to figure out how to print on cards.

SO with Single label selected.
Printer set to Landscape or Portrait Printing If I set it for Height
1.1 and Width 3.2 I get "Specified column 1 offset is too larg (maximum is -2.203472 inches)" The view is still wrong. It shows the printing as horizontal. The label is shown as vertical.
If I set it for Height 3.2 and Width 1.1 I get I don't get a message. The view is still wrong. It shows the printing as horizontal. The label is shown as vertical.

SO no matter how I set it up, it fails to print correctly.

Select QSL Card:
I found a driver that seems to appear to work in other programs and gives me the QSL Card as an option. Card is setup as Width 3.5 Height 5.5. I have the printer selected, the sized selected and source selected in QSL configuration - Printer.

I have Printer QSL Cards and preview checked, I get "Specified QSL Card width is too small" essage. When the preview starts up, it Width at 10.653 x Length 8.152.

Since I can't get the DXKeeper to print labels correctly, I am guessing cards are going to be the same issue....

I was trying to get a few cards and or labels done.
When I preview a single label, it always shows the printing as horizontal. The label is shown as vertical. The printer is a Dymo LabelWriter 450.

In the "QSL labels and address labels" panel on the "QSL Configuration" window's Printer tab, change the setting in the "Single- Label Orientation" sub-panel.

I don't see the Avery 4150 as an option (labels I have).

That's a function of your printer driver.

With printing directly on the cards, it does not see the custom paper type I have added to the print engine.

That's a function of your printer driver.

If I select 3x5, all I get is different error messages depending on what I choose. I am using a Brother HL-5250dn.

Without knowing what the error messages say, one can only guess: try selecting a larger paper size.
