I removed my e-mail from QRZ several years ago (what was there was
significantly out of date) and receive very few "electronic QSLs"
(a.k.a "spam QSLs"). It also seems to limit the level of amateur
related marketing (spam) e-mail.

Majority of electronic qsl's I receive are not via QSL World (or using the N1ET tool) but from QSL Creator and those people which use the tool of PA4R. It looks as if they all use the email-information given in qrz.com (for sender and receiver of the card). If you take out your email information in qrz.com it should be very likely that you will not receive any electronic qsl. This should work in addition to clicking on the unsubscribe links.
If eQSL would offer this service for a certain additional fee in addition to the existing eQSL service it should be possible to use those electronic qsl's also for the awards which accept eQSL (as the qso information is already available in eQSL, no need to present electronic qsl's). I don't download the images normally, only for some specific qso's confirmed via eQSL, therefore I am missing somehow the effort of the qsl designers, but that is the reality, at least for me. I am only using eQSL to be able to respond to SWLs which would need paper cards if eQSL would not exisit. The confirmation of other qso's is just a courtesy and easy to do via DXKeeper. This is very similar to the upload of qso's to qrz.com.
