Re: Waterafall and SpotCollector Spots and JTALert

I have JTAlert set up to send spots to SpotCollector. ?I have SpotCollector set up to send me email alerts when a needed call is spotted. ?
?
I use the DXCommander waterfall. ?Since JTAlert alerts me of needed calls both in a JTAlert window and via email I don't need the spots to appear on the waterfall. ?I really want to see just the FT* spots not originated by me. ?Maybe there is a DX station working on a different frequency on the band I'm working or a station is copying a needed call that I am not yet copying. Of course spots for other modes are needed so that I can change modes if needed.
?
?I don't want to turn off the JTAlerts going to SpotCollector because of the email alerts.
+ To eliminate callsigns in the Spectrum-Waterfall window, in the "Spot Filter" sub-panel in the "DX Spots" in the "DX Spots" panel on the Bandspread tab of Commander's Configuration window,

1. click the Edit button to display the "Commander User-defined SpotCollector Filters" window; in this window, choose an unused entry and

1a. set its Caption to None
?
1b. set its SQL to

cont='XX'

2. close the "Commander User-defined SpotCollector Filters" window

3. select the "Spot Filter" sub-panel's new None option
?
Sometimes I would like to show less that 4 lines of spots on the waterfall. ?I often find I'm not getting many needed spots so there is a lot of space that could be saved by shrinking the callsign window.
?
+ If I were to begin enabling windows to be space-optimized for each user's particular preferences, I'd never be able to develop another substantive enhancement. If you need more screen space, large high-resolution monitors are remarkably inexpensive.
