Re: DXView Doesn't Hold Station Invoked

+ AA6YQ comments below

After a year and a half, I am continuing this thread. The problem remains.
I followed your instructions.
The entity in DXView as YU5R
C per your instructions was F4GWG. I double clicked it in Spot Collector;.
X per your instructions was a Japan station that flashed by so quickly I did not get the call sign. X was replaced very quickly by that I'll call X1, which was F5NBQ. F5NBQ happens to be the most recent - the bottom entity - in DXKeeper.
Perhaps oddly, I've followed your instructions several times and it seemed that when the error logging was invoked, often DXView worked correctly, that is, it held the station I'd double clicked in SC.
I'll send you the errorlog as requested.

+ The errorlog shows that SpotCollector operated correctly.

+ Here's the next set of diagnostic steps:

1. on the General tab of DXView's Configuration window, check the "Log debugging info" box

2. on the General tab of DXKeeper's Configuration window, check the "Log debugging info" box

3. on the General tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window, check the "Log debugging info" box

4. terminate DXView and DXKeeper

5. start DXView and DXKeeper, and wait for them to fully initialize

6. double-click on a Spot Database Entry

7. wait 10 seconds

8. if the erroneous behavior did not occur, go to step 6

9. on the General tab of SpotCollector's Configuration window, uncheck the "Log debugging info" box

10. on the General tab of DXView's Configuration window, uncheck the "Log debugging info" box

11. on the General tab of DXKeeper's Configuration window, uncheck the "Log debugging info" box

12. in your SpotCollector folder, rename the file Errorlog.txt to SC_Errorlog.txt, and then attach it to an email message

13. in your DXView folder, rename the file Errorlog.txt to DXV_Errorlog.txt, and then attach it to the email message created in step 11

14. in your DXKeeper folder, rename the file Errorlog.txt to DXK_Errorlog.txt, and then attach it to the email message created in step 11

15. send the email message to me via
