3 Times per year we have the opportunity to use the AX prefix.
I did it once before and the headaches it created with respect to logging and reporting drove me bananas.
There must be an easier way that I am missing.
If I make a new log, will that save all the QSL config data, I.E. will my TQSL data, eQSL.CC, QRZ, etc for AX5OM be saved within that log file?
Hence, on the day, I just select the AX5OM log file from QSL Config Log Tab?
+ In general, Award Progress Reports assume that all QSOs within a log are valid, so all QSOs made from the same DXCC entity should be recorded in the same log file. Specify the "Station Callsign" you're using in the upper-left corner of the Configuration window's Defaults tab. You can exclude QSOs made from specific locations from being considered for IOTA, Marathon, VUCC, and WAS award to comply with their rules. To see your award progress for a specific Station Callsign, filter the Log Page Display to contain only the relevant QSOs before invoking the progress report; if you'll be doing this frequently, create a script that combines the filtering and reporting steps.
+ Each of Club Log, eQSL, LoTW and QRZ have different requirements for dealing with different Station Callsigns:
+ Club Log: specify the station callsign for "upload" and "sync" operations on the "QSL Configuration" window's "Club Log" tab.
+ eQSL: setup an additional account for each station callsign, specify the appropriate username and password for "upload" and "sync" operations on the "QSL Configuration" window's "eQSL" tab
+ LoTW: obtain a Callsign Certificate for each station callsign, specify the appropriate "Limit sync operations..." and "station callsign" settings on the QSL Configuration window's LoTW tab.
+ QRZ: setup an additional Logbook for each station callsign, select the appropriate "QRZ Logbook" and specify the correct API Key on the QRZ tab of the QSL Configuration window's LoTW tab.
