The band map followed the radio closer, when tuning from the radio, and the radio and commander followed faster when clicking on the band map.
There was not much difference, the major advantage to me was that the bandmap worked independent of any logging software running, making the bandmap useful when running N1MM, WriteLog and any other software that needed to also talk to the radio at the same time.
+ Thanks.
+ Anyone contemplating the use of this configuration - Commander and another transceiver control applications simultaneously controlling the same transceiver through a hardware or software port multiplexor - should be aware that these are invalid configurations, meaning that support will not be provided.
+ Commander's Secondary CAT port and the transceiver emulation products sold by Tom VA2FSQ (e.g. Win4IcomSuite) are valid ways to enable another application or device to lead or follow your primary transceiver.
