thank you for the reply. i opened the computer in safe mode wiith networking below is what i found
if i open launcher and click on a app to open from the botton in the lanucher window then it will not close with the term button.
if i have an app checked in launchers config dxlab window to enable with the start button then the term button will close them. this may very well be correct just never noticed it before.
i hope i have explained what is going on so it is understandable

launcher BUT closes everything else. so i checked everything against the 3rd computer all have the same settings in each app. and

not a big deal just has me stumped as of now.
