Re: PRINTER RECOMMENDATIONS
Danny Douglas
I understand that Buck.? But, I considered the other end as well, because I was there - for almost 20 years.? I made thousands and thousands of contacts.? If each one of them sent me a card every time, for every contact, I probably would have just stopped keeping envelopes on hand.? At some point, the time spent in QSLing becomes so much that you lose hours of making those contacts.?? I personally have no need for 12,000 California cards, on each band and mode.? If I don't need your card, I wont send one to you in the first place, but am obliged to do so If I get 30 of them from you.? Too many stations doing that, and the whole system collapses.? When I get a card from someone, It is notated on the logfile, as needing to be answered.? Occasionally I will print up a bunch, and those will be amongst them.? True, I have to keep a note, also, as to which ones go which way:? I.E. buro, sase envelope from them, direct, etc.? But can handle that easier than a ton of cards a month.? HI.??
