Re: PRINTER RECOMMENDATIONS

If you are going to print a lot and you want to save money and print quickly I would look at the new Epson Eco tank printers. They use ink bottles that you can buy at a fraction of the price of cartridges and even the lowest cost model comes with a claimed 8000 BW AND 3500 color Pages in the box. I do not consider myself to be a high print user BUT my wife prints an average of 10 pages of Target coupons a week and I print maybe 10 varied pages a week and almost no pictures. My HP564XL cartridgeS ?(Ha means Extra Large, right!) need replacement about 3-4 times a year at a cost of about $250 a year, even at Sams Club. Yes the printer I want is about 300 dollars but would pay for itself in ink cost savings in 1 year or less. It is also MUCH faster at a true 20 pages per minute including color pages. The original ink would last 2 years and after that around 40 bucks for another 2 years. Take a look.?
I realize I might print more but would not regret the high cost per page as it would dissapear.?

I too was looking at Global QSL for buro cards, I register and have look at my Inbox of QSL's supposedly they have sent to my CT buro, but some of them I never receive here some are from 2011 and others older than that.

Other problem is with there QSL software, on the backside I never see the grey square that appear on the tutorial, the other is only 5 QSO's,? I've send an email on the contact form about two weeks ago but never got any replay back.

If it work ok, the price is good and no work to separate the cards, I'm thinking to just got 100 cards and try it.

Buck, had thought about doing that too,? But, I see more and more notices about this guy and that guy, no longer responding to Buro cards, and wonder just how much waste of money and time it is to try that way.? Any idea as to the percentages of outgoing for which you eventually get a response??

?
I would heartily recommend for bureau cards. They print
your full-color custom-designed card, including the QSO information and
ship it to the foreign bureau for about 13 cents a card. DxLab will
generate the ADIF file you send to them. You can upload hundreds of
QSLs within a few minutes. No fuss, no muss, no printing, no ink, no
labels, no postage, no sorting and you don't have to be an ARRL member.
