Re: SpotCollector odd behaviour

OK, so ... SpotCollector has some specific expectations about the command prompt provided by the cluster node, and won't consider you "connected" until it sees that. Dave will have to give you exact requirements, but a typical prompt would contain '<yourcall> de '. I'm not sure how SpotCollector knows what is the correct value of '', or if it actually cares. Since I can't login to the CDXC cluster node, I can't verify this, but it sounds like it might be VE7CC-compatible, so you might try sending "set/prompt" to it (from the spot source window), and see if that helps...

It is the CDXC cluster at:-
- port 7300
log in is callsign but it is password protected.
I have just checked the CDXC website to make sure that the details are correct & they are.

This can be caused by the prompt being set to something other than
what SpotCollector expects. What Host address, Port and Username have
you specified for the spot source?
