Re: Where to buy solder?
I definitely recommend taking a look at 'goKimco.com'.? They are an older (started in 1978) industrial distributor of soldering and soldering supplies located in Mentor, Ohio. They have all the best brands (e.g. Kester) and excellent prices (their prices on Kester solder are 1/2 (or more) of the other prices I found on the web). Their web shopping store works very well, shipping cost is quite reasonable, service is excellent, etc, etc.? I ordered a pound roll of Kester thin solder and two Kester flux pens and had them 3 days later.? My recommendation: give them a look.

I'd have to agree with Bill, though in my case I have yet to use Craig's List or Kijiji, at least for solder,? but I have found my lifetime supply of various sizes of Kester solder rolls through estate sales, or "live estates", where I have helped in the disposal of the owner's equipment.? The latest one was a close neighbour, and while he is still alive, both he and his wife had to move from a 4 acre house and property to a 500 sq ft assisted living facility.? He basically told me to take anything I wanted or it was going to the dump!? Solder was one of the many things I acquired. In southern Ontario, you are blessed in normal times with a decent ham fleamarket at least every month from February through November, usually within a couple of hours drive.? Let's hope we get back to normal soon as I suspect that is another good option.? There should be a pretty good backlog of "stuff" once the floodgates open again! 73 Peter VE7PS On 2021-04-16 8:02 a.m., wabate via groups.io wrote:

I just checked the scroll for the 6GJ5 and it's there, BUT, James must have an older scroll that I have. My scroll has the 6JB6 listed, which explains why the supplement doesn't.

If it's a 600 Series Knight Kit, it's not in the supplement listing either, which is surprising since the 811A and 4X150 is even in it.
