Could be a bent shaft. Watch the skirt as you turn the knob. If the skirt is rubbing on the panel, you¡¯ll need to use one or two 1/4¡± washers under the skirt to give it extra space.?
There is not much that can be done with a bent shaft other than replacing it.?
