Mark, it depends on what band you are on. The switching is done via the sideband and the band switches.?
If you leave the sideband switch in the same position and change the band, you can watch the lights change.?

So to clarify a little, if I turn the SSB selector to the left it is USB. If I turn the SSB to the right (X) position the rig is in LSB. I know this to be true because I can listen to the same person on my Yaesu in LSB, but on the Drake TR-4CW I have to turn the SSB selector to the RIGHT (X) position. I know my Yaesu is 100 percent correct. Confused on what to do. or is that normal on some rigs? The reason I'm asking is because sometimes you need to put the rig into the X position, but if the filters are switched then I need help on how to get this right.
