The net control was flabbergasted that I had managed to fix a Signal/One.
I tried to explain that it was really a fairly straightforward radio, and
nowhere near the same ballpark of difficulty as the modern stuff, which
generally consists of:
1 big board... with a giant 200-pin ASIC in the middle.
