I was fortunate enough to acquire a late-numbered C Line, with all the filters, an MN-2000 an etek digital display and a complete C-4, for $600, in 1986. That was a bargain even then!
I sold the tuner because I already had a Murch tuner and kept the C Line until around ¡®89, when I bought a TS-930S. The C-4 has been with me since I bought it and it will stay with me. The antenna switch is very robust, as is the Powermaster. I¡¯ve run legal limit through the switch and it has just kept on going for me.?

That would do it though it's a strange failure mode.? I'd have thought someone put in the wrong bulb, but it? looks like the original construction (albeit burned).
Somewhere in the world, there's a pile of the actual antenna connection boxes for these :-)

I saw this on eBay just now. I believe the circuit is identical to that of the C-4 antenna switch. Looks nice and cheap for its rarity.?
Don¡¯t criticise the link. My phone gave it to me and I¡¯m mobile¡
