Case in point: two weeks ago I landed a TR-7, PS-7, MS-7, and a
Drake desk might of unknown model number for CAD$250. That's about
$195 in real money.
Sounds a bit like the TR7 and PS7 I have.? I got them not long after I
became a ham almost 10 years ago.? I went to a hamfest in Tullahoma TN,
which isn't too far from my QTH.? While walking around I saw a TR7 and
PS7 under the table of one vendor.? I ask what he wanted for the TR7 and
PS7.? He said $50.? I said SOLD!? The TR7 had LOTS of problems, but with
help from Jim, NU0C, I nursed it back to health. TR7 is throwing fits on
40 meters again though.? Suspect it has another bad connection in the
high pass filter like it had before since the output is down to around
10 watts. :(? Barely enough to drive the L-4B to about 100 watts.
