Many years ago, when I was a kid, I found a hardcover book titled,
"Elements of Radio" by Marcus and it was dated back in the 1950's as I
recall. It took the reader from the very beginning of radio up to the
latest at that time, explaining in simple detail using plenty of sketches
and schematics , on how electron tubes and its circuits work. I believe
that there have been several printings of it, and mine only had
radio tubes, nothing newer. Check it out, you will not be disappointed. I
still have that old book here somewhere and I would never part with it!
