It appears that the Optical Interrupters are the problem. I took it completely apart and cleaned the sensors as best I could. I swapped sides for the 2 sensors so will see what happens. Does anyone have a source for these optical sensors?? ?Haven't tried it yet on my TR7. I think most of the problems that I am having are because the unit came from a smoker. I am getting mostly yellow brown residue off everything. The bias is set correctly per the manual and all freq are right on with my HP counter. I don't have a scope but all voltages are within spec. I have cleaned with alcohol all the board connections and connectors so the pins are nice and shiny. I also cleaned the female connectors.? I think it is almost ready but will keep my fingers crossed.? Thanks everyone for suggestions. Oh sometimes the unit will increase with a CCW rotation and decrease with a CW rotation.? Most of the time it only decreases.? It powers up with the x250 freq on all bands.
