While not a Drake, But has the same
effect. On my SB-220 I put those small verniers on both the Plate
and Load.
I'd hate to tune the amp without them. Even manually never mind

I came up with still another method, using those 2" diam mini
turns counters....which are marked 0-100? around their
circumference...and count up to 10 turns.
With any 6:1 vernier, it takes 3 x full revolutions? to get
from min C to max C.? That's a total of 300 increments from min
C to max C.? ?Again, just dial it up by the numbers.
IE: make up a cheat sheet for different freqs on each band.?
Makes re-tuning mere seconds.?
