Hi Joe.

No,? the option is there for you to check.? I had to go to my account
(and pick the down arrow beside my login name). Then over on the left
side bar select "Preferences" and at the bottom of the things that come
in the main screen is an option to see your own posts. Screenshot below
shows the option:


However,? in my case I still never see any post I make to the group show
up in my inbox unless I specifically addressed it to myself via cc or
blind copy which I frequently do.? I am using a client (Thunderbird) and
have not used the web interface to send any messages.

I hope this helps any others that were looking for the option.

I also have Gmail as you know but I get no messages back from a group
if I sent the message. The only way I do get my own messages is to
blind copy myself.? I? have read the same thing on a few other forums
so I am not sure why or how some get their own message from a
Groups.io group back and others (like myself) never see their own
message in their inbox.? I do always use a client (Thunderbird) and
seldom the web (unless I am trying to send from the owner account as I
have only found that I can do that from the web version).

The piece that is being overlooked here is that GMail does not
allow that. Ask me how I know.? If I want a copy of my messages to
the group I have to cc myself or blind copy myself as GMail will
not return the message because it seems to think it is a duplicate
message. I have echopost enabled but GMail ignores that so I do
not get copies of my own messages to the list.
