?????????? Thank you for your message. Based on previous posts, it appears there is a switch that determines the fate of one¡¯s own posts, but from what I can determine, it is only available when you first register for a particular message board.

Hi Joe.

I also have Gmail as you know but I get no messages back from a group if I sent the message. The only way I do get my own messages is to blind copy myself.? I? have read the same thing on a few other forums so I am not sure why or how some get their own message from a Groups.io group back and others (like myself) never see their own message in their inbox.? I do always use a client (Thunderbird) and seldom the web (unless I am trying to send from the owner account as I have only found that I can do that from the web version).

Thank you.

Jim

Hi Jim..

I question that, as I have a GMail address and I receive a copy of every message I post on Groups.io.

The piece that is being overlooked here is that GMail does not allow that. Ask me how I know.? If I want a copy of my messages to the group I have to cc myself or blind copy myself as GMail will not return the message because it seems to think it is a duplicate message. I have echopost enabled but GMail ignores that so I do not get copies of my own messages to the list.
