Thanks for the advices.

I've tested my TR7 with an external "laboratory" PSU and saw that the RF signals (LO, BFO, etc...) were all affected by a heavy noise.

My scope on the 13V PSU shows that this PSU is really bad ! It has noise and oscillations superposed to the DC voltage.

What puzzles me is how can these noises affect the TR7 stages in such a proportion !

This is why I suspected a filtering problem on the boards.

I can't change all caps on all boards.? :-) So I will start with the VCO for which I ordered the caps.

I'm reluncant to change the PS7 main routage, as I want to sell both sets after complete repair.
