I removed the
AC socket and replaced it with an aluminum cover with a hole cut in
the center for a coaxial DC connector. Then wired it to 12V in the
TR7. I used a 24 volt DC fan of the same size wired to a coaxial plug.
There is no reason to have any AC at all in the TR7. If you have it
wired in the power connector from the power source disconnect it.
