I'm a retired Insurance broker who worked for one of the major broking houses up to 5 years ago.? Agree that at one time all this was possible but since 1992 most insurers have got wise to this practice and now investigate more fully.? Why 1992 ?? It was the year with the most Arson claims ( so I was told).
