I am also sometimes worried about that subject.
No one at home follows my steps and, in YS, we have no hams. All are dying, and we are no more than 6 hardcore ones who still do DX. The rest only work VHF repeaters and Sats.
I am very small here, compared to you guys (everything fits in a small 1.8 x 2 meters room) and I am worried at 56.... now you, in North America, have accumulated tons and tons of equipment... Have to act As soon as possible and keep only the essential... I guess. Cause it’s going to be a problem for your XYL who will just sell everything by metal weight or simply take it to the dump.
