Re: COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF COMPATIBLE RADIOS?

So far in our?testing we are finding that the DINAH is compatible with any. radio which has the 6 pin mini-din "data" connector (or equivalent such as the DR0135T).? In most cases we find that these radios also work with the same sound volume?settings.

That depends on the revision of the Pi your hat is on.

I have three nodes running on a single rPi 3b, a DINAH connected to a Kenwood TM-V71A, a SHARI 3U, and a TYT 220 monoband radio connected to a Repeater-builder RIM Alinco.

Earlier versions of the rPi4 prior to I think v1.4, had a problem with running multiple of the same type of USB device at the same time, which affected the ability to have multiple CM108/CM119 sound fobs connected. AFAIK, this has been corrected with 1.4/1.5 revision boards.

I have wired it to the IC-9700 and IC-7300 through the ACC jacks.

Also I have some interfaced to a Yaesu DR-1X and a Motorola MTR3000 through the DB25 J7.

(some connector soldering required to make the cables)

?

And OH that mini-din adapter is cool.

There is a document in the Files section of this group.

?

It is titled "Some Radios with the 6 pin miniDIN Interface"

?

There probably are others.? Please let us know if you are aware of one.

?

Also, the Yaesu CT-175 can also be used with Yeasu radios like the FTM-400 to convert the 10 pin miniDIN to a 6 pin miniDIN for use with DINAH.

Hi.

?

My subject line says it…

?

Is there a list somewhere of known compatible transceivers, new or used, which are known to work with the Dinah?

?

By “work with”, I mean without modifying the Dinah.

?

To ask it another way. My Dinah is plug-and-play with my Kenwood TMV-71A. What other radios are the same?

?

Thanks and 73,

Ok so this issue was actuall simply over driven audio in the end.?
We re ran audio (rx) level check on hamvoip (simple usb) and brought it down to the acceptable levels and voila dtmf tones now decoded nicely.

Thanks?for all responses

Re: dtmf tones via the yaesu ft-1500

Follow the instructions in this document located in the Files section of this group to adjust your audio/DTMF levels.

dtmf tones via the yaesu ft-1500

hi all, i am in need of some advise here. Recently built and installed an allstar node using a Yaesu FT -1500m as the base radio..?
however when trying to use short dtmf codes/tones via my HT to manage the node, i can hear the tones on the radio, but they somehow do not reach the node to activate or deactivate.
when tested with another opertator, he says he hears the tones on his end, but they are either very low or distorted..?

kindly advised on what i missed out using this radio, or is there a setting that needs to be changed.

regards

Re: Dinah to Kenwood "K" connector information anyone please ?

I am finding that the present font pof all TNC cable knowledge at thjis point?is:

-?

I have worked with them on a few cable issues and their cable engineering?is very good!.

I think you meant 6 pin mini-din to Yeasu HTs:

-?

If they don't have the cable you?need, I find that they can be very accommodating?in helping design/build a specific?cable.

Whoops, ignore that. I didn’t fully understand the necessary connections involved in Dinah-to-HT interfaces.
