There is a local repeater without Allstar access, and we'd like to enable that without adding anything at the repeater site.? We are trying to set up a VHF rig with a DINAH, so the Allstar audio would be sent to the repeater.? The repeater audio would be received into the Allstar node by the radio.
We attempted it, but the repeater starts looping a transmit/receive cycle as soon as the TX is released.? So it sits quietly, receives audio ok, but as soon as we try transmitting via the DINAH node, the repeater keeps cycling.
Is there a way to do this, or are we just missing something basic?
