I check alsamixer and the mic was MM. I changed it but it didn't make a difference. Neither did changing packet speeds in the radio. I checked the jumper again on the board too. Set to Pin5 1200 bps. The audio level is probably -100db or more. Either the Dinah board is bad or the radio is. At this point I am not sure what else to check. As I said, I am borrowing a friend's 8900 to see if it works. If it doesn't, then we are pretty confident it's the Dinah board.

I think this is due to the baud rate for packet.? Depending on what speed the audio goes out that pin.

Pin 1 is audio INTO the radio.

Pin 4 is 1200

Pin 5 is 9600

?

The DINAH has a jumper to choose pin4 or pin5.

Try changing the packet speed to see if audio works. Menu 26

The other issue I don't?understand is the radio is acting like it is in cross band repeat.? So I have the node on the right side monitor.? What do you have Menu 27 set to? R-FIX L-FIX or MAIN?

Also, the node is not responding to any DTMF input from an HT.? Is it a setting in the 8800 I need to change or something in the node itself?
