Incorrect address for rest stop 4 -Lunch, Day 1?
5
Hi All, This will be my first MS150. Going through the documents I found what I believe to be an incorrect address for my assignment for day 1, rest stop 4, in the Information and Emergency Plan document. On page 14 the address for Lone Willow Baptist Church is listed as 1710 Country Club Road in Cleburne. When I pull that up on the map it shows Lowel Smith Intermediate School and doesn't match with the course map. The address for Lone Willow Baptist Church is 3964 FM 1434, Cleburne, TX 76033. That address lines up with the route map. Just making sure I go to the right place. Cheers & 73, Andy - KI5YLX

Contact info

It looks like I will be assigned to Rest Stop #5 on Sunday with WA9WCC Mike Schmit. I'd like to get in direct contact with Mike so we can coordinate. If you can provide his email address that would work, or he can ask him to contact me. My email address is: AI5OL@... 73 de Dan AI5OL -- 73 de Dan AI5OL -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. www.avast.com

Tagging Vehicles
2
Miranda, 98.5% of the time, the marker is the only ¡°tagging¡± mechanism we have. Your ¡°Tail¡± identifier should be on the vehicle either way. You know that tactical position is the most searched for after 2 hours¡ ? ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª I normally throw magnets on my car for marking, haven't heard of any issues from that before but since this is the template would you prefer I do this instead? I can probably make the magnet sit in those corners instead if that works. I also have not my call sign next to my assignment name and I'm unsure why I'd be running someone else's call on APRS. Thanks, Miranda ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª- For those that are on the route, we require you to have your vehicle marked with your tactical assignment. This helps to be identified by MS staff and volunteers, as well as served agencies (watch your traffic habits). You should also have an APRS tracker. This information should also be displayed. Locations: - Front windshield. Upper corner of passenger side. - Rear windshield. Lower driver¡¯s side. - Rear side windows each side. Static windows preferred. Attached are excellent chalk markers to do so. They are water resistant. Yet wipe off with a paper towel. Chadwick Stelzl-KD5UMO
