Continuing the conversation after yesterday's DAC webinar

Thank you all for signing up for the DAC-Climate listserv and for participating in yesterday's webinar! You can find the recording , the presentation slides We look forward to continuing the conversation with you.

As mentioned, I wanted to follow up a couple of unanswered questions attendees submitted on cap-and-trade proceeds (see below), which fund DAC programs through CA Climate Investments (CCI).

1. Does it look like the Cap & Trade Funding model is stable and working? [I heard this might be in question, but not sure what the issue was -- but appreciate any insight on trends or concerns about maintaining funding levels for DAC/LI projects.]

2. When will cap and trade reach its logical conclusion when all have capped out and can no longer emit emissions

I'd recommend the following readings on this topic and would encourage others that have insight to share more information.??

I'd also highly recommend folks register to attend a ?to hear about resources available for sustainability projects. This webinar could be a place to ask questions regarding the status of cap-and-trade auction revenues and expected budgets for CCI/DAC programs.

If you have other questions, announcements, or relevant information to share on the topic of energy and climate opportunities for local governments that serve DACs, please feel free to send it to the group by visiting?/g/DAC-Climate/post?or emailing [email protected].?
