EMBRACING OUR SOLDIERS AT OZ
VeGAON

It’s winter in the Judean hills, south of Jerusalem, and it's
freezing cold.
?
It’s the middle of the night.
?
There is a place in? Gush Etzion where our soldiers can come for
a hot drink? 24/7 – the Oz VeGaon Nature
Reserve, above the Gush Etzion junction.
?

Since the establishment of Oz VeGaon in 2014, in memory of
Gil-ad, Eyal, and Naftali, the three teenagers killed by terrorists, Oz VeGaon
has become a thriving educational and Zionist center, attracting thousands and
strengthening our connection with the Land of Israel.
?
IDF soldiers and security forces serving in the region come to visit
the Coffee Corner at Oz VeGaon every day of the week, day and night, where they can enjoy a light break in preparation for their next
mission.
?
During the week, we provide hot and cold drinks and snacks, and on
Shabbat mornings the soldiers are invited to join our Kiddush for kugel, cake
and drinks.
?
Oz VeGaon also has an air-conditioned tent for soldiers with a
kitchenette and refrigerator. All this is done thanks to your donations.
?
?
This is our small way of? expressing all our love and
appreciation to our soldiers and security forces, who devote their lives to keep
us safe!
?
In order to be able to continue to provide this important expression
of love for our soldiers, and to expand it, we invite you to join in this
project.
?
Your contribution will enable us, to continue to purchase –
cups, plates, silverware, cookies, cakes, and drinks –
and to maintain and upgrade the equipment? - the hot water urns,
coolers, fridges, and tent.
?
The monthly cost comes out to around 9000 NIS or about?$3000 a month.
In this campaign, we would like to start by raising funds for the coming 3 months, i.e. 27,000 NIS or about?$9000.?
