Answer:

One step at a time¡­and it won¡¯t be very long before you see change! My client, George, lead a life of poor health habits that¡¯s resulted in diabetes, kidney disease, stents, high blood pressure, disability, and obesity. It¡¯s only been 7 weeks, but George has:

*Cut his evening dose of insulin from 120 units to 40 units
*Eliminated his daytime insulin completely
*He¡¯s eliminated one blood pressure medication completely, and has significantly reduced the other one¡¯s dosage.
*Unable to walk for even 5 minutes, George now walks bouts of 12 minutes at a time.
*His weight is slowly decreasing, and his energy is gradually increasing.


We have more work to do, but in 7 weeks, George is adapting to lifestyle changes, especially diet, and is reaping the benefits already.
