Setting up DD 6
I have had my ID-1 for several years but have never been able to muddle through the setup on the computer to make it do data. I am operating Windows 10 now on my computer and am able to control as well as program the radio from the computer so it is hooked up properly by the USB connection. I am sure there is a step by step somewhere but I am unable to find it on proper computer setup. I can work my way through steps but if someone has the complete setup from start to finish on making it work that would be great.

DD on G3
Why i couldn't surf on the internet with my id-1 on G3 , mtu = 1500 won't work !, and this is why ! Hello Gents, Here is the reply from ICOM America DSTAR system admins and engineering. Packet size has been limited to stop system crashes at gateway level, something G2 gateway software did not address. This is a feature of G3 whether we like it not. “Based on feedback to my DD MTU questions… G2 did not check a packet size. This sometimes caused G2 DD mode crashes when a jumbo frame was received from the internet. The DD mode was changed in G3 to check a packet size. The G3 MTU size is 1412.” Thank you and best regards, Mario Freitas Icom Canada Technical Support/Sales Tel: (604)952-4266 Ext. 238 www.icomcanada.com Jean-Pierre ve2se send with my id-1 on ve2cst ad

Icom 9100 HF/VHF/UHF radio for sale
I have for sale an Icom 9100 HF/VHF/UHF satellite radio. This model does 100 watts on HF, 6 meters and 2 meters, and 75 watts on 70cm. It does full duplex for the satellites and will do dual receive between HF/6 and 2 or 70cm, or between 2m and 70cm. 1.2GHZ can be added with an optional module. It has IF DSP so no narrow filters are needed, a CW memory keyer, built in TCXO, and many other features, you can read more about it at: - http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/hamhf/5091.html - The 9100 I am selling has the optional 3khz and 6khz roofing filters installed, as well as the D-STAR board. - It is in pretty good physical condition with some scratches on the top and bottom of the case, and some scuffing on the one side of the case. It comes with the hand mic, power cord, manual, and original box. - New this would go for $2670 with the options it has. I am asking $1650 plus shipping for it and can take paypal/check/MO. Pictures are available on request. - 73 John AF5CC

Icom 9100 accessories for sale
I have for sale the following Icom accessories. Prices include shipping in the US and I can take paypal/check/MO. Here is what I have: 1. brand new Icom OPC-1457 4 pin power cord. Never used, works with Icom 9100/7000/7100/7300/7600 and probably a few other models. It would work with Yaesu and Kenwood radios that use 4 pin power cords as well. Sells new for $69.95, I am asking $25 for it. 2. Nifty mini manual for the Icom 9100 series of radios. 21 laminated pages about the basic functions of the 9100. Sells new for $22.95, I am asking $13. 3. Nice spiral bound operator manual for the Icom 9100. The original operators manual copied and put in a spiral bound format with plastic covers on the front and back by Staples. Much easier to use as you can leave it open to whatever page you need and it stays there. Asking $17. 4. 13 pin DIN plug used on many Icom radios for accessories, has wires for each of the pins at the other end. Several inches long, good for wiring up accessories. I am asking $10. 73 John AF5CC
