RP4010V with ID-RP3 - No ID

Just purchased an ID- RP4010V with the ID-RP3 software.? After performing initial setup and just getting it going in analog mode only, the repeater does not send any Morse ID's.? All other functions of the repeater seem to work.? I had ICOM check the setup and all looks proper.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?? Need to resolve this to move forward.

Ron,

We haven't experienced this issue, but I remembered that there is a setup item in the Analog Repeater menu which allows you to configure the ID Output.? I just checked the KE5RCS setup by running the computer at the repeater site and then using ID-RP3 to access the configuration of the repeater.

The Analog Repeater menu has an ID Output menu, and this must be set to ON.? Then you select CW output.? The Call Sign is entered in the Repeater Call Sign menu in the Common menu.? Did you do your setup this way?

Hey Brad, how are you neighbor?
? Repeater started working after a full reset. ?Yes, saw those settings in the program. ?All good points. ?I would like to ask if there is a setting to keep the ID “beaconing” every ten minutes(600 sec). ?Is there a setting to stop IDing on its own without being keyed first?
Thank you for you help. ?I hope you are well. ?I keep an ear to D-Star when I am at my desk working.
May you have a Blessed Thanksgiving Holiday.

Ron,

I've never tried this, but there is an ID Output setting that applies "While Repeater is Stand-by" in the Analog Repeater section.? Maybe that would do the self-triggered ID that you're looking for.? But I don't see anything that tells me you could stop the IDing by transmitting in either mode.? You'll have to play with the settings to see what they actually do.

Pat and I are doing well, although I'm recovering from knee surgery and she's waiting for a broken shoulder bone to heal.? Nothing out of the ordinary for us, it seems.? I've been monitoring the repeaters, but I haven't been too active because I've been in recovery mode.? Now that I've passed the eighth week, I on the air again.? Call when you have a chance.

Our new 440 Gen 3 module in FM would pump out a CWID every 10 minutes rain or shine.? KD8GBL managed to get the "tunnel the USB packets over IP" thing going on our controller and fixed it remotely.??

I just had a thought.? We drive to a full stack existing repeater site, and swap out a Gen 2 440 module for a Gen 3 440, can we then also take out the existing RP-2C, and then have the bits left over for a whole new 440 DV only repeater???

We have tower sites all over, and local clubs are like "we like Fusion" or whatever- we could put in one of the new spare D-Star repeaters as no cost.? ?Maybe that was Ray's "secret plan" - the information technology textbooks say in "platforms" there is value in an increased number of connected nodes.? ??
