I took mine to home depot, the roofing section and found a joice hanger that was exactly the right size. Re drilled 8 holes in the hanger (4 for the radio on the sides and 4 to bolt it to the floor)

1.2 GHz DD has significantly less coverage than the 1.2 GHz DV mode. The signal is lower power and spread into about 50 times the width of the DV signal. For initial testing, I'd definitely recommend
