Hi Folks,
Just a heads up, I started some testing a while ago of OLSR and Batman over a simple 3 node DD-mode network (linear). The testing has taken me much longer than I had hoped.
My plan is to submit a paper to the DCC (which I might yet manage).
In short, the (not unexpected result) is that you need to increase the Hello interval (OLSR) out to 30+ maybe even more seconds to get a reasonable tcp throughput. The defaults are practically useless for anything other than a point-to-point link, with the obvious consequence that using it while actually 'mobile' would prove problematic as the time taken to update all nodes in the network about a change of location will end up being in the order of minutes.

John
