Folks asking for help running the ID-1 software and driver on 64bit systems can solve their problem with VMware's "VMWare Player". When loaded on either of the 64bit operating systems it works flawlessly.
An empty VM will need to be created and made available, so people can install a 32 bit Windows OS into it. VMWare Player doesn't allow you to create VMs.

I have the facilities to create an empty VM, but it'll take me a day or 2 to get around to it. You need either VMWare Workstation (which costs a couple hundred $ I think), or VMWare Server (free), which runs on either Linux or a Windows Server OS to create the VM.

I plan on upgrading to VMWare Workstation, so I can quickly create test environments for work, but that's a little while off at this stage.
