Using dropper tool, pick a color for background 3. Resize if needed. Settings: Resize all layers = checked Lock aspect ratio = not checked Resample using = Bicubic Width = No more than 300 pixels Height = No more than 375 pixels 4. Edit/Copy 5. Image/Canvas Size Settings: Width: 1500 *or your preference* Height: 400 pixels Placement: Left middle arrow 6. Layers/New Raster Layer 7. Layers/Arrange/Send to bottom 8. Using flood fill tool, fill with background color. Right click to fill. 9. Selections/Select All 10. Edit/Paste/Paste Into Selection 11. Selections/Select None 12. Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur Settings: 20 13. Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling Settings: Default 14. Effects/Plug Ins/?v? Flood fill with background color 24. Adjust/Add/Remove Noise/Add Noise Settings: Random Noise: 5% Monochrome: Checked 25. Selections/Select None 26. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Settings: V & H: 0 Opacity: 70 Blur: 5 Shadow on new layer: Not checked 27. Effects/Distortion Effects/Wave Settings: Horizontal displacement Amplitude: 1 Wavelength: 100 Vertical displacement Amplitude: 0 Wavelength: 1 Edge Mode Repeat 28. Layers/Duplicate 29. Using the mover tool , move the duplicated line over a bit, about 15 pixels over from edge of first line, see example below. 30. Layers/Merge/Merge Down 31. Layers/Duplicate 32. Image/Mirror 33. Using mover tool, move the duplicated layer *which should be all the way over to the right of your image* on the right side of your tube. Place where you think it looks good. *Be sure that it lines up at top and bottom so you will get a seamless tile* 34. Click on tube layer and add a drop shadow of choice, do not add a drop shadow if using a misted tube. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Settings: V & H: 1 Opacity: 65 Blur: 5 Color: Black Shadow on New Layer: Not Checked 35. Add your watermark 36. Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten 37. Dropper Tool Left click on your tube to pick a color for your Foreground Right click on your tube to pick a second color for your Background *We will be using 4 different colors in this tutorial so it is a good idea to make a swatch out of your colors to keep them straight. I will call the colors 1, 2, 3 and 4. *Optional Try choosing at least Two dark colors and a very light text friendly color for your 4th color **NOTE This Tutorial uses 4 colors throughout Please feel free to use whichever colors work best for you when colorizing** 4. Image > Resize Settings: Resample using = Smart Size Lock aspect ratio = Checked Resize all layers = Checked Width = No more than 350 Pixels Height = No more than 400 Pixels *Optional 5. Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen 6. Edit > Copy (your main tube) 7. Activate your ACFC Having a Ball Template (you may choose to duplicate this if you want to use the tutorial again) 8. Layers Palette Activate your Bottom Lines Layer (second from the bottom) 9. Adjust > Color Balance > Manual Color Correction Settings: Manual target color = Checked Freehand selection = Unchecked Colors: Source = #808080 Target = Color #1 10. Layers Palette Activate your Soft BG Balls Layer (second from the top) 11. Adjust > Color Balance > Manual Color Correction Settings: Target = Color #3 12. Layers Palette Activate your Color Balls Layer (top) 13. Adjust > Color Balance > Manual Color Correction Settings: Target = Color #2 14. Layers Palette Background Layer (bottom) 15. Activate your ACFC Having a Ball Pattern (you may choose to duplicate this if you want to use the tutorial again) 16. Adjust > Color Balance > Manual Color Correction Settings: Colors: Target = Color #4 (your text friendly color) 17. Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling Settings: Default 18. Materials Palette Change your Background to The Pattern we just colorized Settings: Angle = 0 Scale = 100 Texture = Unchecked 19. Activate your ACFC Having a Ball Template 20. Flood Fill Tool Settings: Match mode = None Use all layers = Unchecked Blend mode = Normal Opacity = 100 Right click to fill with Background Pattern 21. Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling 22. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible 23. Edit > Paste As New Layer (your tube) 24. Move Tool Arrange your Tube to your liking *DO NOT COVER UP THE WHITE BALLS WITH YOUR TUBE* *Optional You may choose to resize your tube more or less at this point 25. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow Settings: Vertical = 0 Horizontal = 0 Opacity = 65 Blur = 10.00 Color = Black or your choice Shadow on new layer = Unchecked *do not add a drop shadow to a misted tube* *Optional 26. Add any Accents now (arrange as you choose & add a drop shadow if you choose) *DO NOT COVER UP THE WHITE BALLS WITH YOUR ACCENTS* *Optional 27. Add any text and a drop shadow to your text if you choose *DO NOT COVER UP THE WHITE BALLS WITH YOUR TEXT* 28. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible 29. Layers > New Raster Layer 30. Add your Watermark 31. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible 32. Edit > Copy 33. Open your Jasc Animation Shop 34. Edit > Paste > As New Animation 35. Back to PSP 36.
