Open any Accent tubes in your
PSP and Minimize

1. File > Open
Your Tube
?
2. Window >?Duplicate (Shift?+ D)
Close original
?
3. Dropper Tool
Left click on?your tube to?pick?a
Dark/Medium color?for?your Foreground
Place White in?your Background
?
4. Image >?Resize
Settings:

Resample using?= Smart Size

Maintain original print size =

Unchecked

Lock aspect ratio?= Checked

Resize all layers?= Checked?

Width?= No more than?250 Pixels

Height?= No more than?375 Pixels

5. Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

Tolerance = Null

Settings:

Symmetric = Unchecked

Size in pixels:

Top = 0

Left = 2

Right = 2

Bottom = 0

Color = White

Color = Foreground

10. Layers > Promote Background Layer

11. Image > Canvas Size

Settings:
Lock aspect ratio = Unchecked
Width =?450 Pixels
Height = 500 Pixels
Placement = Left Center
**this will now be called our Working Canvas**

12. File > New > New Image

Settings:
Width =?240 Pixels
Height =?350 Pixels

13. Flood Fill Tool
Left click to fill with your
Foreground color

14. Effects > Plugins > Neology >

Mountain Lines

Settings:

Line Distance = 71

Offset = 28

Horiz/Vert Toggle = 0

15. Materials Palette

Click on your Foreground color

(your Material Properties will pop

open now)

Write down or remember the

H: and S:

(Hue and Saturation) Numbers (#)

16. Adjust > Hue and Saturation >

Colorize

Settings:

Hue = (your H: **Hue Number)

Saturation = (your S: **Saturation Number)

17. Edit > Copy

18. Edit > Paste As New Image

(minimize for later use)

**this will now be called our Pattern Image**

19. Working on your Colorized Image

20.?Image > Add Borders

Settings:

Symmetric = Checked

Size in pixels = 2

21. Image > Add Borders

Settings:

Size in pixels = 3

Color = White

22. Image > Add Borders

Settings:

Size in pixels = 5

Color = Foreground

Settings:

Size in pixels = 2

Move this smaller frame image

over to the Left and down to

about 360 Pixels (down) and

about 35 Pixels Across

39. Activate your Working Canvas

40. Edit > Paste As New Layer

(your tube)

41. Move Tool

Move your Tube up and over to the

Left side

(leaving about 5-10 pixels from the top edge)

42. Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

(your tube)

43. Adjust > Blur > Blur

?

44. Layers Palette

Lower opacity of this bottom tube

layer to 40-50 (your choice)

?

45. Edit > Paste As New Layer

(your tube)

46. Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top

?

47. Move Tool

Arrange your Tube to your liking

Inside/On your Larger Frame Image

(you may choose to resize your

tube more or less to your liking)

48. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

Settings:
Vertical & Horizontal = 1
Opacity = 65
Blur = 6.00
Color = Black
Shadow on new layer = Unchecked
*do not add a drop shadow to a misted tube*

49. Layers > Arrange > Move Down

(so your tube is below the smaller

frame image)

time and any drop shadow
of your choice
