Characters: Devon, Rosalind
Devon: ¡°Fairly certain that carpenters don¡¯t glow,¡± Devon rebutted good-naturedly. ¡°Leastways, I never have.¡±
Her promise to be gentle had him quirking an eyebrow, and he pressed a hand to his chest, pretending to be wounded. ¡°When have I ever made you think I need the gentle treatment.¡±
Dev chuckled and shook his head. ¡°Besides, I don¡¯t want to take up too much of your time.¡±

¡°You never have because you¡¯ve never let me drag you into the aromatherapy room,¡± Rosalind countered with a smile, her hands busy prepping the tea. She had done it so many times by now, she was fairly certain she could do it blindfolded. Scent alone would guide her to the right blends.?
At the hint that he didn¡¯t want gentle treatment, Rosalind quirked an eyebrow in apparent disbelief before grinning. ¡°Duly noted, you like it a bit rough,¡± she said, slightly amused. Leaving the tea to steep, she turned back to him, and stepped close enough to put her hand gently on the side of his face. ¡°Devon darling, you could never take up too much of my time. You¡¯re my sole focus right now,¡± she said, and slipped her hand down the side of his neck in a gentle caress before letting it fall to her side. ¡°You are tense. A massage, perhaps, if aromatherapy is out of the question?¡± she suggested, giving him a warm smile.?
