California Animal Legislation [email protected]
This is a public list devoted to discussion about all animal legislation that affects Californians which will give immediate alerts to any situation that needs our attention. Our emphasis is on protecting our rights as people devoted to our animals from the legislative threats proposed by the radical elements of the "animal rights" movement.
Our scope includes laws and proposed legislation affecting our rights and responsibilities regarding dogs, cats, animals in agriculture, exotic pets, hunting & fishing and animals in research at the federal, state, and local levels, respectfully sharing fact-based ideas, resources, and approaches.
There is absolutely NO place here for partisan politics. The AR movement has tried very hard to convince liberal politicians that AR ideas are a logical extension of liberal thinking, propagandizing them for a generation now. The "animal rights" agenda is definitely NOT liberal; it's fascist. Here in California, we absolutely must convince liberal Democrats of that fact if we are to stop draconian legislation like AB1634. Protecting our animals is NOT a left/right, liberal/conservative issue; it is just common sense. We are all in this together and must be able to work constructively with those of differing political views in order to protect our rights.
This list may attract AR moles, so it's wise not to post personal information about your address etc. You can always contact members privately with your contact info All new members to CA-animal-legislation will be on temporary moderation. Members who flame, troll, post off-topic or unverifiable material will be put on moderation or removed from the list.
