I have installed the above on Windows 10. When I open an FT-8900 image I have 1 tab: Memories.
When I open a 7900 image I have I have Memories, Banks and Settings. Is the 8900 not fully supported yet and if not is there some timetable?

That is all that is supported for the FT-8900. It is up to the volunteer developer as to how much effort (s)he puts in to supporting a radio and how much of its features are supported.

There are no timetables, per se. It is just a matter of a volunteer developer having access to the physical radio, factory programming software and the desire to do the work that is required for development process.

IMO, just allowing input of frequencies is not really supporting the radio, it is a downgrade from the from the, again in my opinion, previous serviceable version of Chirp, pre-chirp-next.
