Re: Trying to Download an IC-2300H
I ordered an RT systems USB-29A cable and now I can download with chirp. But I also bought the RT systems software. So now I have no need for chirp. I guess you get what you pay for! LOL! Jim

Re: Trying to Download an IC-2300H
Ah, gotcha. I just looked at the Chirp port dialog. I think mine says something different when I have an FTDI cable plugged in. Sorry about that! ___ Jim Mitchell |

Re: Trying to Download an UC-2300H
I did a quick search and it looks like you may need an FTDI cable for that radio. ___ Jim Mitchell | [CISSP](https://www.credly.com/badges/ce002e8f-967d-4855-873a-2774eadef67f/public_url) |

Re: No support for Baofeng UV-5RX3?
You do have a legit Baofeng from a verified dealer. It just got put under Radioddity instead of Baofeng. Baofeng Tech (the radio dealer in the USA) was first to have a Baofeng UV-5R like radio with 3

Re: No support for Baofeng UV-5RX3?
Rob, This is a bit off-topic, but I won't go on and on about this. The manufacturers and vendors aren't making it easy with all these HT's they're making. It's even confusing when you go to buy a

Re: No support for Baofeng UV-5RX3?
Rob . . . Did you try the manufacturer's programming software since CHIRP doesn't support your radio? I believe Baofeng does offer their programming software for free. I haven't used it, so I can't

Re: No support for Baofeng UV-5RX3?
Thanks Jim. Being a home brewer and QRP advocate I rarely buy off the shelf radios and there seems to be a lack of clarity as to whose product you have, at least from Amazon. I thought I had a legit

No support for Baofeng UV-5RX3?
Did not find the UV-5RX3 listed in the Chirp dropdown so tried 5R and 5X - neither would allow me to add the 1.25 mHz (220M) band frequencies, entering by copying from calling frequency list or by
